All
transfer requests must be accompanied by:
• An
entry form completed and signed by the new entrant.
• Payment of the
$25 change fee (check or money order ONLY) + the price difference, if
any, for event category.
• The exchange of entry fees is handled between the slot seller and buyer. The entry fee from the original registrant will be used, so there is no need to send a check for new registration fees with the transfer information. (You will need to provide a check for $25 change fee AND the difference in entry fee - for example, if the original participant was registered for the Fleet Feet Sports SuperSprint ($55) and the new participant is registering for the Chicago Triathlon Sprint Open Age Group ($155), you will include $25 + $100 = $125).
• The new
participant must complete, and we must have received his or her Event
application before your transfer will be processed. The
transfer of your slot will be at the discretion of the Event, and you
will be notified if and when a transfer can occur. It is highly recommended to submit ALL forms and checks together as one submission (in the same envelope) to eliminate any confusion or delay with your request.
