1. Determine
Your Race Number
You will be able to look up your race number on the computer near the entrance to registration.
2.
USA Triathlon (USAT) Membership or USAT Single-Event Permit
To participate in the Accenture Chicago Triathlon, you are required
to be a member of USAT or purchase a USAT single-event permit.
3.
Pick Up Your Race #'s & ChampionChip
Check the number signs above the registration tables. You are
required to produce your photo ID and submit the completed USAT
and Event Waiver forms (unless you did so at the time you completed
the event online registration) to collect your registration
packet. Relay Team Captains should collect the team race packet,
wristbands and event shirts, but must submit signed USAT and
Event
Waivers for each team member. To download the necessary waiver
forms, click the button to the right. If you arrive
at transition without your wristband and race #, you will not
be
allowed to race. You will also need to be wearing your wristband
to collect food and drink at the post race party picnic and
to
retrieve your bike from transition.
4.
Check Your ChampionChip
Stop by the ChampionChip area to verify your chip before exiting
the registration area.
5.
Collect Your Event Shirt & Race Bag
Show your race number and turn in your shirt tear tag to the
volunteers to collect your event
technical shirt and
race bag.
6.
Collect Your Swim Cap
Make sure you get the correct color swim cap.
7.
Proceed to Body Marking
It is recommended that you get body marked at the Expo on Friday
or Saturday. Please dress appropriately (shorts & T-shirt).
Body marking is also available on Sunday near the entrance to
the swim start, and inbetween transition and swim start at Monroe
Harbor, but there will be long lines.
8. Attend a Course Talk
Course Talks are optional but highly recommended for all participants of the Accenture Chicago Triathlon. Each
year, there may be a change to the USAT rules and the Accenture
Chicago Triathlon course, and as a participant, it is your responsibility
to be in the know.
