Bike Shipping Program

Chicago Triathlon Services offered from Village Cycle Center:

• For $90- Village Cycle Center will receive, unpack, assemble, tune, and test ride your bike. If you are shipping in a hard case or a reusable carton, please make sure your name is on the case or container. Also, mark your aerobars and seatpost with tape or marker prior to disassembly to ensure a better fit after we rebuild it.
• For $20- Village Cycle Center will receive, and store your bike until the event.
• For $30- Village Cycle Center will deliver your bike to the Hilton Towers Hotel and will be available for pick up during expo hours from our booth.
• For $125 and up- Village Cycle Center will box and ship your bike UPS Ground to anywhere in the continental United States. (Additional insurance available at $1 for each additional $100 of insurance needed). Riders must find a way to get their bike back to our store. Oversize charges may apply to larger bicycles, bicycles with aero bars and/or other accessories. We will not ship helmets, cloths or other items not attached to the bicycle in the box with the bicycle. Shipping these items can damage the bicycle during transit. $125 is an estimated shipping price, and all extra charges will be the responsibility of the shipping party. We will call for a credit card payment if charges exceed the $125 estimated price.

NOTE: ALL INCOMING BIKES MUST HAVE A TICKET NUMBER

• Make sure your name is on your case or reusable container.
• Bikes will be availble for pick up at the Village Cycle store prior to the event or at the race Expo at the Hilton Chicago (Friday 8/26, 3PM-9PM or Saturday 8/27, 9AM-5PM)
• Bikes must be received by Monday, August 22nd to be guaranteed ready for delivery to the Hilton and/or pick up from Village Cycle Center.
• We will not ship bicycles that we do not box. If you would like to ship your bicycle that you packed, please contact local UPS and/or FedEx drop locations near you.
• Bicycles are shipped out in the order of 'first to come, first to ship'
• Payment (via Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) is due at the time the work ticket number is issued.
