Chicago Triathlon Registration at the Expo

Participants in the Accenture Chicago Triathlon must pick up their race packets on Friday or Saturday. Course talks take place on Friday and Saturday. Attendance at a race course talk is optional but is highly recommended for anyone new to triathlon or the Accenture Chicago Triathlon. A copy of the course talk with be available online in early July at this web site.

THE FLEET FEET SUPERSPRINT

A beginners triathlon for anyone 15 years and older, the Fleet Feet SuperSprint includes a 375 meter swim, 10k bike & 2.5k run. The Fleet Feet SuperSprint filled in July with 800 athletes. There are 1,000 slots available in 2003 and we expect the race to fill.

McDONALD'S® KIDS TRIATHLON
Saturday, 8/23, 5:30am-noon
Chicago's Foster Avenue Beach

In its 14th season, the McDonald's Kids Triathlon is the largest event of its kind attracting some 800 youngsters. Open to boys & girls 7-14 years, the event has individual & relay team competition.

For kids 7-10 years:
100 meter swim, 4k bike & 1k run.

For kids 11-14 years:
200 meter swim, 8k bike & 2k run.

The swim takes place in Lake Michigan in shallow water, parallel to the beach. The bike and run take place on closed park roadways and running paths. It is a great opportunity for kids to break into the sport.

ACCENTURE CHICAGO TRIATHLON

Chicago's Downtown Lakefront

The triathlon takes place in downtown Chicago with the swim in Lake Michigan in Monroe Harbor, parallel to the shore, the bike on Lake Shore Drive, and the run through Burnham Park. The race finishes on Columbus Drive, a block from the historic Buckingham Fountain. The race features both Sprint distance and International distance competition in the following categories:

 

Sprint Distance:
(.75k swim, 22k bike & 5k run)

  • Open Age Group Competition
  • Mountain Bike Competition: Tires must be at least 1.625" wide. Be sure to check the box to compete in this category.

 

International/Olympic Distance:
(1.5k swim, 40k bike & 10k)

  • Open Age Group Competition
  • Team Clydesdale Competition: Be sure to check the box to compete in this category. For more info: call 317-329-4961 or visit www.teamclydesdale.com.
  • Open Relay Team Competition: Open to two or three-person teams.

 

Corporate Team Competition:

  • Corporate Team Individuals: Each team member does the full event, with three to a team (male or female) and the top two finishers being scored. Sprint & International distance competition available.
  • Corporate Team Relays: Two or three-person relay teams (male, female & coed), International distance competition only.

The Accenture Chicago Triathlon has now reached it's field limit and all registration is closed. If we received your entry after the race filled, your check will be destroyed and you will be notified by e-mail.
