Clydesdale Competition
The Life Time Tri Chicago offers the Team Clydesdale Competition open to female triathletes 150 pounds and over, and male triathletes 200 pounds and over. Team Clydesdale athletes will start in Team Clydesdale waves.  

AWARDS & AGE/WEIGHT CATEGORIES

Lady Clydesdales/ Athenas
Awards go to the top (3) women in each of the following weight/age group categories:

150-159lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

160-179lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

180+lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

Clydesdales
Awards go to the top (3) men in each the following weight/age group categories:

200-224lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

225-249lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

250+lbs – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in the 39 and under, and 40 and over age groups

Note 1: To compete in the Clydesdale Competition, you must weigh-in at the Clydesdale check in table at race packet pick up at the Expo (Friday or Saturday). If you have registered, but decide not to race as a Clydesdale, you must complete and submit a change of entry form prior to July 1st to be scored in the Open Age Group Division.

Note 2: Anyone competing in the Team Clydesdale Competition will be competing for Team Clydesdale awards and will not be eligible for Open Age Group Awards. For members of USA Triathlon, times will be included in the USAT rankings.
