STEPS TO THE REGISTRATION PROCESS

1. Determine Your Race Number:
Your race number will be posted at the entrance to the Ballroom.

2. Complete & Sign the Waiver forms:
Participants (including relay team members) must read, sign and submit the Event Waiver form and the USAT Waiver form (available at the USAT booth and Packet Pick Up). Participants in the swim (age- group or relay team) must meet the requirements of the Event Swim Waiver. The Swim Waiver form can be found on this web-site, CLICK HERE.

3. USA Triathlon (USAT) Membership or 1-Day USAT Permit:
To participate in the Accenture Chicago Triathlon, SuperSprint and Kids Triathlons, you are required to be a USAT member or purchase a 1-day USAT permit. To upgrade your 1-day permit to a USAT membership or to purchase a 1-day permit, stop by the USAT booth near race packet pick up. If you are already a USAT member (have your card with you) or paid for a 1-day permit with your entry, go directly to packet pick up.

4. Pick Up Your Race #'s & ChampionChip:
Check the number signs above the registration tables. You are required to produce a photo ID and submit the completed Event Waiver forms to collect your race packet. Relay Team Captains should collect the team race packet, wristbands and T-shirts. If you arrive at transition without your wristband, you will not be allowed to race and there are no refunds. You will also need to be wearing your wristband to collect food and drink at the Post-race Party and to retrieve your bike/gear from transition. Also, be sure to hold on to the Picnic Ticket attached to your Race Number.

5. Check Your ChampionChip:
Stop by the ChampionChip area to verify your chip before exiting the registration area.

6. Collect Your T-shirt & Goody Bag:
Just show them your race number to collect your goodies.

7. Collect Your Swim Cap:
Make sure you get the correct color swim cap. Body marking volunteers will mark your race number and wave-start number on the cap.

8. Proceed to Body Marking:
It is recommended that you get body marked at the Expo on Friday or Saturday. Please dress appropriately (shorts & T-shirt). Body marking is also available on Sunday near the entrance to the swim start, but there will be long lines.

9. Attend a Course Talk:

In 2003, course talks are optional for participants in the Accenture Chicago Triathlon, but highly recommended if you are new to triathlon or have never raced the Accenture Chicago Triathlon. Click here to get the Course Talk Schedule.
