Attendance to the 2003 Accenture Chicago Triathlon MultiSport Expo is mandatory. This includes all members of Relay Teams and children participating in the Kids Triathlon. The Expo provides the opportunity to make corrections to any registration errors which may have occured, allows participants to attend course talks and be notified of any important last minute announcements which may affect the event and/or the course.

THERE IS NO PACKET PICK UP ON RACE DAY
FOR THE ACCENTURE CHICAGO TRIATHLON (SUNDAY EVENTS)!
ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

By not attending the Expo and picking up your packet, you will not be able to compete in the event.

If you are a member of a relay team and unable to attend the Expo, you may send someone to pick up your packet for you. Relay Team Captains must bring an authorization from each member of the Team NOT accompanying him/her to packet pick up.

KIDS RELAY TEAMS: Parents or Guardians of each Really Team member must sign this permission slip if they are not able to attend the Packet Pick Up with the "Team Captain's" Parent or Guardian.

In order to have your packet picked up, you must complete and sign the authorization available BELOW. The person who picks up your packet must bring:

• A completed and signed authorization form
• A copy of photo ID for both the registered participant as well as the photo ID of the person picking up the packet.

All of these items should be turned in along with the appropriate waivers to registration staff at the Expo in order to receive the registration packet materials.

Article III -- General Rules of Conduct and Penalties
3.5 Unregistered Participants

Any person who participates in any portion of a sanctioned event without first properly registering and paying any required registration fee shall be suspended or barred from membership in USA Triathlon and barred from participation in any sanctioned event for a period of up to one year.

Any person who in any way assists another athlete to violate Section 3.5a by providing or selling a race number to that athlete shall be suspended or barred from membership in USA Triathlon and barred from participation in any sanctioned event for a period of up to one year.

Any second violation of this Section shall result in a lifetime suspension or ban from membership in USA Triathlon.
