FLEET FEET SPORTS SUPERSPRINT TRIATHLON
RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

Be sure to read this information carefully. You will be prohibited from participating or removed from the course if you violate any of the following rules:

• Participants are required to submit the completed USAT Waiver form at packet pick-up. Failure to do so will disqualify the registrant from participating in the event (no refunds). The signature of a parent or guardian is required.
• Although a bike safety inspection is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. If an event official deems your bike unsafe, you will be prohibited from participating in the event (no refunds). A number of bike shops are offering FREE bike inspections (August 13-23). Check this website for a shop near you.
• ANSI, CPSC or SNELL approved helmets are required during the cycling portion of the event. Helmets are inspected at entry to transition. You will be prohibited from participating if you do not have an approved helmet (no refunds). Helmets must be buckled in place during all aspects of the bike including transition.
• Participants are prohibited from riding their bikes in transition and must mount and dismount at the exit and entrance to transition.
• Participants are required to attend a pre-race course talk taking place at 7:15am at the swim start.
• Parents and friends are prohibited from entering transition and helping participants at any time during the event. Volunteers will be on hand to assist participants during transition.
• Participants are prohibited from striking or impeding the progress of another participant.
