First Responders Competition
If you are a member of a Police or Fire Department, a branch of the US military, F.B.I. or C.I.A., you are welcome to participate in the First Responders Competition (International distance only, no relay team) at the 2012 Life Time Tri Chicago.

The First Responders Challenge was launched in 2007 with just 7 participants, as a friendly head-to-head competition between members of the Chicago Police Department and Chicago office of the FBI.  The Challenge has grown to some 150 officers, representing more than a dozen agencies.

In 2012, the First Responders Challenge (FRC) is open to all members of police and fire departments, federal law enforcement, and the military.  To participate in the FRC, you must register in the First Responders Division (not Open Age Group or Clydesdale).  Participants in the FRC are eligible for awards in this division and not age group awards.  Awards will go to the top 3 males and top 3 females overall.

To participate in this division, you must provide proof of eligibility in the form of agency or ID credentials when you pick up your race packet.  If you have any questions regarding the First Responder Challenge or your eligibility to compete in this division, please contact Mike Sanchez at CPDtriathlon@gmail.com
