- Helmet number (must be on the front of your bike helmet)
- Bike number (same number as helmet number must be on your bike’s frame)

If you’ve recently purchased a chip, report to the “Solutions Desk ” table at registration after you’ve picked up your race packet and the volunteer will collect your assigned chip and record your personal chip #.
Please confirm that all the items above are in your registration envelope before picking up your swim cap. If any item is missing, report to the “Solutions Desk” at registration packet pick-up.
STEPS TO THE PACKET PICK-UP PROCESS
1. Determine Your Race Number
Your race number will be emailed out to you prior to the Expo. You will need to print it out and bring it with you to packet pick-up.
2. USA Triathlon (USAT) Membership or USAT Single-Event Permit
To participate in the Life Time Tri Chicago, you are required to be a member of USAT or purchase a USAT single-event permit. Online registrants will be required to provide an annual membership number, or purchase a single-event permit, when filling out the sign-up form.
3. Pick Up Your Race #'s & ChampionChip
Check the number signs above the registration tables. You are required to produce your photo ID and submit the completed USAT and Event Waiver forms (unless you did so at the time you completed the event online registration) to collect your registration packet. ALL relay members must attend packet pickup IN PERSON, and submit signed USAT and Event Waivers. To download the necessary waiver forms, use this link. If you arrive at transition without your wristband and race #, you will not be allowed to race. You will also need to be wearing your wristband to collect food and drink at the post race party picnic and to retrieve your bike from transition.
4. Proceed to Body Marking
It is recommended that you get body marked at the Expo on Friday or Saturday. Please dress appropriately (shorts & T-shirt). Body marking is also available on Sunday near the entrance to the swim start, and in between transition and swim start at Monroe Harbor, but there will be long lines.
5. Check Your ChampionChip
Stop by the ChampionChip area to verify your chip before exiting the registration area.
6. Collect Your Swim Cap
Make sure you get the correct color swim cap.
7. Collect Your Event Shirt & Race Bag
Show your race number and turn in your shirt tear tag to the volunteers to collect your event technical shirt and race bag.
8. Attend a Course Talk
Course Talks are optional but highly recommended for all participants of the Life Time Tri Chicago. Each year, there may be a change to the USAT rules and the Life Time Tri Chicago course, and as a participant, it is your responsibility to be in the know.
