PRIZE MONEY

We will be awarding a total of $67,000 in prize money. The prize money will be divided equally between male and female Pros as follows:

GATORADE PRIMES
We will be awarding $2,000 in Gatorade Primes as follows:

Swim Prime: 1st male and 1st female Pro to pass under the Swim Finish banner will each receive $500.

Bike Prime: 1st male and 1st female Pro to pass by the Bike In banner at transition will each receive $500.

U.S. TAX REGULATIONS
Cash awards are subject to US tax laws. You must provide proof of a valid US Social Security number and sign an affidavit when you pick up your race packet to avoid the 30% US IRS withholding. You will be required to fill out an appropriate tax form (W-9, W-8, etc.) when you pick up your race packet. Your race packet will not be released to you without the tax form being submitted.

PAYMENT OF PRIZE MONEY
Checks for prize money awards will be mailed to winners within three weeks of race (pending receipt of completed tax forms from the athlete). Please make sure we have both your correct
mailing and e-mail addresses.

ADDITIONAL AWARDS
Travel: We will be awarding a certificate for a round-trip ticket on American Airlines (continental US
only) to the 1st Place Male and Female Pro finishers. Certificates may only be used on American
Airlines flights, and the tickets expire on the date listed on the certificate. Certain restrictions
apply. Certificates will be mailed to winners with their prize money check.

Accomodations: The top three male and female finishers will receive a two-night complimentary
hotel stay for the 2009 race weekend at the event host hotel, the Chicago Hilton Towers. Certain
restrictions apply and you will be contacted by event staff for reservation information.

Entries: The top five male and female finishers will receive complimentary race entries for the 2009
Accenture Chicago Triathlon.
