ABOUT
THE FLEET FEET SUPERSPRINT TRIATHLON
If you're into
speed (sprinting) or new to triathlon, The SuperSprint Triathlon is made
to order with a 375 meter swim in Lake Michigan parallel to the beach,
10 kilometer (6.2 mile) bike and a 2.5 kilometer (1.5 mile) run. The triathlon
takes place at Foster Avenue Beach (Chicago's north side lakefront) on
Saturday, August 25th in association with the McDonald's Kids Triathlon.
HOW
YOU CAN HELP MAKE THIS THE BEST
FLEET FEET SUPERSPRINT TRIATHLON TO DATE
A triathlon of this scale and scope requires the support of hundreds of
dedicated volunteers. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society brings out an
army of 200 hard working folks and Accenture is bringing out another 200,
but that leaves a void of 200 folks that needs to be filled. If a friend
or family member (15 years or older) is coming along to cheer you on,
becoming a race volunteer is a great way to support your participation.
And after the race, they are welcome to join-in at the Post-race party
to share in your success. For more information on the "the mission
and how to enlist" to be a race volunteer, just visit our Volunteer
Area by clicking here: VOLUNTEER.
Without the
support of all our volunteers, this event could not take place.
