Points & Prizes
Professionals
Professional triathletes will earn points for each race completed. To be eligible for the Toyota Cup, pros must start all five races. But only the top four results of five races will count toward the overall point total, meaning that one disqualification or DNF won ’t count an athlete out of the Series.
The top male and female point-getters will be the Toyota Cup Champions. Plus, the top three male and top three female pros that meet or exceed 29,000 points will be eligible for first, second and third place Series Points Bonuses. Should an athlete win all five races, he or she will be the Toyota Cup Champion as well as the Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series Champion — winning a Series Super Bonus of $300,000. |
