Alive with Mission Me!Alive with MissionMe!, (AMM), a 501c3 organization , has developed comprehensive, in-school curricula and after-school multisport programs with the defined objectives of helping to combat obesity and to put fun back into physical activity. AMM has offered youth multisport clinic and camps in seven states and in the international territories of Brazil. AMM has served over 500 youth, with approximately 80% who are first-time multisport participants, 60% who are at-risk of becoming overweight or obese, and 50% who are economically disadvantaged.

Training for and competing in Triathlons are great ways for children to be active and instill lessons that will last their lifetime. According to www.ahealthyme.com a typical 5 year old eats almost 600,000 calories a year, which is a lot for a small person, but that is where they have all that energy to run, swim, and ride a bike. However, in today’s world children are not moving as much, creating health problems within children that did not occur historically. Children need to exercise to keep them healthy, active and to achieve their physical goals. The Tri-Masters and Alive with MissionMe!  programs are also supplying the tools that children need to train and compete with the best. They are paving the way for these children to be the next Olympians!

Tri-Masters and Alive with MissionMe! think about these current needs and dreams of children today and are instilling life long lessons in children, adults and families successfully. They are starting and creating these healthy habits so children are more likely to continue these behaviors in their adult years and mature into physically active adults while simultaneously creating newer and healthier lifestyles for adults. The bonus is everyone is burning all those calories while having fun! “
