The club meets the first Wednesday of every month for socializing, club announcements, and clinics. Our meetings are at Fizz Bar & Grill, 3220 N. As part of these meetings, we also have a clinic. Recent clinic topics have included: nutrition for endurance athletes; bike maintenance; training with a heart rate monitor; mental aspects of training; bike fitting; and a roundtable review of local races.

Our August 6th clinic will be a walk-through of the Accenture Chicago Triathlon to prepare racers for the worlds largest Triathlon.

New for 2003, we have partnered with professional triathlon coaches to provide on-line training programs for popular club races. These new training programs have been designed to work in tandem with our group workouts schedule: you may participate in any group workout even if you are not following the training program; likewise you may follow the training programs but complete the described workouts on your own time.

We are offering an 8-week training program for the Accenture Chicago Sprint distance Triathlon and an 11-week training program for the International Distance race.

Our club is a great way to meet new people who enjoy your passion for triathlons. Frequent social events help club members get to know one another. Recent events have included: Cubs games, scavenger hunts, happy hours, awards parties, ice-skating, Ravinia concerts and more. Also, we coordinate pre-race pasta dinners and post-race celebrations for the season’s most popular races.
