Working Bikes

Working Bikes is a 501(c)3 organization that recovers bicycles from the waste stream and redistributes them through donations, refurbishment and resale.  Working Bikes is a volunteer-driven organization, funding its operations almost exclusively through the sale of refurbished bicycles at its storefront. Those funds allow us to provide bicycles to charity organizations within Chicagoland and to ship thousands of bicycles each year to regions of the United States and the world where bicycles serve critical roles in economic development and empowerment.
